Combined Master’s-Ph.D. Fellowships are applicable to in the National Research Laboratory located at Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology Research Center, Division of Applied Life Science (BK21 Plus program) in Gyeongsang National University (GNU), Jinju, Korea. Research Fellowship in Brain Korea 21 program: KRW 9.6 million per annum per student (first 2 years, after 2 years, KRW12 million per annum). Students will take part in one of the following projects (1) Characterization of plasmodesmatal components using molecular-genetic-biochemical study. (2) Improvement of local and long-distance sucrose transport using plasmodesmal engineering. (3) Development of efficient plant homologous recombination technology using CRISPR/Cas9. We are seeking a highly motivated and excellent students for this program. English language skills are required.
