About the Project: URC is working with CH2M to improve biosafety and biosecurity (BS&S) and bio-surveillance (BSV) in Vietnam. The Project seeks to increase capacity of the Ministry of Health (MOH) Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), and improve the quality of research at Vietnamese institutes. The project will assist the Government of Vietnam with sustaining all elements of assistance by conducting trainings and providing subject matter experts in BS&S, equipment maintenance, and bio-surveillance.

About the Project

The project will assist the Government of Vietnam with sustaining all elements of assistance by conducting trainings and providing subject matter experts in BS&S, equipment maintenance, and bio-surveillance.

Roles and Responsibilities

URC seeks a Task Order Manager to assist the Project Manager with project implementation and integration. This position will coordinate with the U.S. Embassy Health Attaché, US CDC representatives, DTRA Liaison, Vietnamese Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Defense, through their subordinate departments and agencies to facilitate delivery of project scope of work.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • University degree in biology, chemistry, animal health, or related science discipline; post-graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Vietnam related to biosafety & security, lab operations, lab certification, standards development, regulator reform, public health, or related areas
  • Experience working with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Defense, and/or Ministry of Agriculture staff
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and excellent in time management
  • Fluent (written/verbal) in Vietnamese and English languages
