Faculty of Biology (FOB), VNU University of Science – Hanoi has built a strategic partnership with GIGA center (Interdisciplinary Center for Biomedical Research), University of Liege, Belgium in the field of training and research, especially in biomedical studies.

From 2016 up to now, FOB has had 2 collaborative projects with University of Liege with a total budget of more than 500 thousand EURs. Currently, 2 Ph.D. students, who are staff of FOB, are studying at University of Liege, Belgium within the framework of a bilateral joint project funded by ARES: “EXPLORING THE MEDICAL, (ECO)-TOXICOLOGICAL AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC POTENTIAL OF NATURAL EXTRACTS IN NORTH VIETNAM”, which began in 2018 and lasts until 2023.
