About us

Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (formerly named as Department of Physiology – Biochemistry) was established in 1966. Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) is one of the nine Departments belonging to the Faculty of Biology. The BMB Department undertakes 16 courses for students in Bachelor in Biology (Standard Program, Talented Program, and International Standard Program) and Biotechnology (Standard and Honor Programs), 8 courses for Master students in Experimental Biology, and 5 courses for PhD students in Biochemistry. BMB Department trains about 30-40 Bachelors, 8-10 Masters, and 1-3 Doctorates yearly in the fields of Biochemistry and Experimental Biology.
