Main fuction: Conduct and support staff/research groups in CELIFE and Faculty of Biology to carry out the following research activities:

+ In vitro plant culture

+ Callus culture

+ Plant cell suspension culture

+ Plant artificial nuclear testing

+ Biologically active substances from plants

+ Preservation of plant samples/genes in vitro

+ Gene transfer in plants.
