About us
Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (formerly named as Department of Physiology – Biochemistry) was established in 1966. Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (BMB) is one of the nine Departments belonging to the Faculty of Biology. Currently, BMB Department has nine permanent staff members, including 01 Professor, 02 Associate Professor, 03 Doctors of Philosophy and 03 Masters of Science. The BMB Department undertakes 16 courses for students in Bachelor in Biology (Standard Program, Talented Program, and International Standard Program) and Biotechnology (Standard and Honor Programs), eight courses for Master students in Experimental Biology, and five courses for PhD students in Biochemistry. Every year, BMB Department has been contributing to training about 30-40 Bachelors, 8-10 Masters, and 1-3 Doctorates in the fields of Biochemistry and Experimental Biology.
