In 2018, within the framework of the official visit of the Rector of VNU University of Science to Academia Sinica (Taiwan), Faculty of Biology (FOB) – VNU University of Science, signed a memorandum of understanding with Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB), Academia Sinica (AS), Taiwan on research collaboration and student exchange.

From 2019 up to now, FOB regularly sends 1-2 students to participate in “Spring Internship Program” organized annually by IMB, AS. This is a good opportunity for students to accumulate more knowledge, learn from research experience and interact with many students from other countries. It is also a stepping stone for students of FOB to receive postgraduate study opportunities at this world-class research institute in Taiwan.
